There two High Tea price options to choose from.

High Tea

$39 per person

A glass of Orange Juice or a Mimosa* on arrival

*Sparkling wine + orange juice

High Tea with Champagne

$49 per person


A glass of Delaplace Champagne Brut NV* on arrival

* Champagne Charpentier at Charly sur Marne, Reims, France

High Teas – the fine print

Mininum numbers:

High Teas may be booked a minimum of 4 diners. We can cater to large groups. If your group is 10+ please call us to discuss. NB: maximum of 10 per group during Level 2 restrictions.

High Teas availability:

High Teas are not available on Mother’s Day, Father’s Day or Valentine’s Day when our ‘special day’ menus are already in place.

High Teas are also not available on public holidays nor during November/December when our Christmas and event season menus are in place.

Booking & Payment:

We require High Teas to be pre-booked. Payment is required at the time of booking.


Refunds may be provided in full if a booking is cancelled more than 48 hours prior to the booked date. 

Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to the booked date will be refunded at 50%.

Cancellations can only be made by phone or by emailing smokepit@spencerbyron.co.nz.

We do not accept cancellations via social media platforms or third-party websites.


The High Tea Menu ($39pp) includes one drink on arrival, either Orange juice or Mimosa and one hot drink.

The High Tea Menu ($49pp) includes one drink on arrival, a glass of Delaplace Champagne Brut NV and one hot drink.  

Additional drinks may be ordered during the High Tea service and paid for upon departure.


High Tea menu items may not be substituted for other food items from the restaurant menu. Additional menu items may be ordered and paid for upon departure.

Special dietary considerations:

Our kitchen prepares food in an environment where allergens such as dairy products, seafood, nuts and gluten may be present. We cannot therefore guarantee that any item on our menu is 100% allergen-free.
